Today is Easter! It’s a day to celebrate Jesus rising from the grave. It’s also a day where the Easter Bunny visits.

The Washington Easter Bunny hopped by during the night, and so did two Illinois Easter Bunnies.

I was quite excited to see what he left last night!

How in the world did the Easter Bunny know that I needed new sunglasses? They’re perfect!

A new book that I had to sit down to read right away.

Daddy’s Easter basket had some yummy candy, fun Cougar gear, and a big can of Red Bull. (Henry seems to be wearing Mommy and Daddy out. The Easter Bunny sure knows what he’s doing.)

The Illinois Easter Bunny knows how much I love gummy bears, so he was sure to put some in my basket. Mommy and Daddy let me have an extra special dessert after breakfast.

Before we left for church, we tried to get some pictures. It was only natural to have lots of tears at this point.

I really wasn’t in the mood to get my picture taken.

Fine. I won’t cry, but I’m definitely not smiling.

In the afternoon, we went to Saige’s house where we had a delicious dinner with lots of my friends.

I also got to have another egg hunt.

Two egg hunts in one weekend?! Awesome!

I decided to share an egg with my friend, Hazel. This was a rare moment of sharing, so I made sure that it was when Mommy and Daddy were looking.
