Story told by: Brody
I’m two today! (Although if you ask me, I’ll tell you that I’m five.)
Lainey picked out very special presents for me, and had them waiting for me as soon as I woke up.
Daddy made me a special Mickey Mouse pancake for breakfast.
I kept telling Daddy how “alicious” it was.
Smiles all morning.
I got lots of special phone calls today. I’m talking to Na Na and Ba Ba in this picture, and later Face Timed with Grandma and Grandpa (and they got lots of kisses from me).
Next I got to open presents!
I got a Maui hook from Matt and Courtney, and I love it!
Here’s my “thank you” to Matt and Courtney (I say “owie” instead of “Maui”).
I got a fun Mickey Mouse slide from the Campbell family. Thank you!!
After a good morning at church, we went to McDonald’s for lunch.
G’ma and G’pa got me some great new clothes, including a Batman shirt to match Henry’s shirt. Thank you!
After naps, we went to fly a kite.
Lainey and Henry did some kite flying, and then laid down to watch me keep flying the kite.
After dinner, it was time for my birthday cake!
Blowing out the candles.
Mommy made a strawberry pineapple cake, and it was “alicious!”
Daddy calls me “Mr. Big Stuff” a lot, so this has become one of my favorite songs. No better day to dance to it than my birthday!
After cake we got in our PJs to read my new books. But I wasn’t feelin’ it. So, instead…
I sat with Mommy and did this to her.
And we watched the birds out the window.
And I gave her kisses (which I do all of the time because I’m the sweetest).
After a great day, I went to bed with my new ladybug nightlight and Anna, which Lainey insisted I borrow for the night since it’s my birthday. So far being a two-year-old has been great! Can’t wait for the rest of the year!
