I had my 18-month checkup with Dr. Mike yesterday!
My siblings were playing with friends, so I had a nice, quiet appointment with Mommy.
I loved looking at my pictures of myself on Mommy’s phone. I kept saying, “Body, Body.”
Here are my measurements:
Height: 34 1/2 inches (98th percentile) (Lainey was 34 inches, and Henry was 34 1/4 inches)
Weight: 33 pounds, 5 ounches (greater than 100th percentile) (Lainey was 25 pounds, 11 ounces, and Henry was 30 pounds, 12 ounces)
Head Circumference: 20 1/2 inches (greater than 100th percentile) (Lainey was 20 inches, and Henry was 20 1/2 inches)
It came as no surprise to Mommy (or to anyone else who has held me recently) that I’m a big guy. Mike did say that I’m looking less chubby than the last appointment.
And then Dr. Mike came in, and I had a great time with him as always.
After lots of laughing with Dr. Mike, he abandoned me to get two pokes by the nurse. Not cool, Mike. Hopefully I’ve forgiven you by the time I see you for my two-year appointment.
