Story told by: Lainey
I can’t believe that today was my last day of preschool (until I return for my final year in the fall). I absolutely loved my teacher, Mrs. Wilson, and I couldn’t have asked for better friends in my class.
My class! Miss Stahlecker (our great helper) is on the left, and Mrs. Wilson is on the right. Mommy got to join us for our fun end-of-the-year party this morning. The theme was BUGS!!
We got to decorate bug catchers.
(Mommy may have bruised her hands punching so many holes in these Starbucks cups, but it’s all worth it for a cute preschool craft!)
We also got to decorate bug masks. I spent a lot of time on this project.
We had some delicious mud, twigs, worms, and butterflies for our snack.
Next we lined up to go on a bug hunt with our bug catchers.
Ready, set, go!
Check out my bugs!
Trying out a crown in the photo booth.
I love Mrs. Wilson! I know she likes gardening, so I picked out wind chimes to give her as an end-of-the-year present. This way she can think of me whenever she’s gardening and hears the chimes. Thanks for a great year!
Me and some of my close friends (Hazel, Nikki, and CeCe).
Henry was playing at a friend’s house during the party, so I made sure to bring a bug mask home for him. He colored it and put it on right away.
Tonight the boys stayed with a babysitter, while Mommy and Daddy came to my preschool end-of-the-year ceremony.
I couldn’t wait to show Mommy and Daddy the song my class has been working on. (I’m in the back row, second from the right.) You’ll notice that my friend, Nora, was quite proud of how loud she could sing. Great set of lungs, Nora!
After the preschool graduates were announced, we went downstairs for some yummy treats. I’m going to miss preschool, but I’m also excited for summer!
I got to go on a special date with Mommy and Daddy after our preschool ceremony for some yummy ice cream!
Summer, here I come!!
