My 10-Day Appointment

I had my 10-day appointment today. (I’m only nine days old, but it’s close enough.)

I was first weighed and measured on the scale. I made sure to stretch out nice and long so I could maximize my height!

Mommy and I hung out in the exam room until the doctor arrived. Nurse Amanda brought in my stats while we waited.

Height: 22 inches (98th percentile)

Weight: 10 pounds, 4 ounces (95th percentile)

Head Circumference: 15 inches (98th percentile)…(I was only in the 50th – 75th percentile five days ago. I obviously worked extra hard on my head growth so I could keep up with my siblings.)

I was very relaxed when Dr. Kinkel came in to check me out. She said I looked great! Mommy did ask the doctor about gas pains I’ve been having at night, and the doctor mentioned that it’s all very normal. Dr. Kinkel did recommend trying a different type of formula, so Mommy is going to try that with the hopes that I won’t be up for hours upon hours each night.

I had to get a quick heel poke, and then I was ready to leave! I’ll be back for my two-month appointment!
