Brody had his first doctor’s appointment this morning (while Lainey and I went to Bonkerz with Na Na, Aunt Janet, and Carly).
Brody was happily sleeping on the car ride to the doctor’s office, so he wasn’t too pleased when Daddy took all of his clothes off.
He wasn’t thrilled about getting on the scale either. In fact, he was so unhappy that he wet through his diaper all over the scale.
And he cried through the check-up by the nurse as well. Brody obviously has a lot to learn about how to behave at the doctor’s office. Fortunately, he’s a healthy guy! Here are his stats:
Weight: 9 pounds, 13 oz (90th percentile)….He has lost a normal amount of weight since the hospital.
Height: 21 inches (95th percentile)
Head Circumference: 14 1/2 inches (50th – 75th percentile)
Wow! His head is tiny! Mommy knew those hospital newborn hats were fitting him too well. With such a small head, he is going to have to work extra hard to keep up with the brain power of me and Lainey!
