I had my one-year checkup today!
As always, checking myself out in the mirror was quite entertaining!
I see you.
We took my measurements, and no surprise…I’m a big boy!
Height: 31 inches (75th percentile) (Lainey was 31 1/2 inches.)
Weight: 26 pounds, 11 ounces (98th percentile) (Lainey was 21 pounds, 11 ounces.)
Head Circumference: 19 1/4 inches (98th percentile) (Lainey was the same.)
Dr. Mike says I’m a healthy boy! I’m doing lots of babbling, and saying “Mama and Dada,” but I’m not directing those words at my parents yet. He says that I should start directly naming things very soon.
I had to get some shots at the end of my checkup, and I handled them like a champ. See you in three months for my 15-month checkup!
