Spring is Here!

We had some nice, sunny weather today so we went to the park. Mommy and Daddy kept telling me how much fun it would be.

When we got there, Lainey went on the slide.

She played on the playground.

And she ran around.

And while Lainey did these fun amazing things that I had heard all about, I slept in my car seat.

Still sleeping in my car seat.

Going into the barn in my car seat (while sleeping).

Walking around the park, in my car seat, sleeping. Hmmm…not sure this park thing is all it’s cracked up to be.

Daddy also got in on the fun.

And don’t mind me…I’m just here still sleeping.

Daddy and Lainey had lots of fun climbing all over the playground.

And lots of jumping!

Daddy did some pull-ups, so Lainey wanted to do the same (although she needed a little assistance).

Daddy showed Lainey a bar that was more her size.

Daddy was momentarily stuck, so Lainey went to assist.

Mommy and I went on a walk around the park. I was so excited to see that Daddy and Lainey were on their way to join us.

But then Lainey turned around to go back to the playground. Oh great. I guess I’ll just go back to sleep.

We had been at the park for awhile, so Daddy and Lainey took a quick nap on the slide to rest…

…and then they got to play for a few more minutes before we went home.

After all of this time at the park, my sister FINALLY noticed me.

She yelled out, “Hello Henry? Hello?”

At Lainey’s request, I got to go up and enjoy the playground. It’s about time.

We eventually had to leave, which was a bummer, but I’m glad I got to go up on the play structure with my sister. Next time I’ll do my best to wake up and have more fun on the playground.
