Mommy and I made some yummy holiday treats this morning – Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls!
Ready to get to work!
I did a pretty good job at mixing the ingredients. I only spilled a little bit!
After everything was mixed, Mommy rolled the ingredients into balls, while I placed them on the tray.
I had to sample what we were making. Don’t worry everyone…it’s delicious!
Here I am counting each ball by saying, “Three, three, three, three….” I can verify that we made at least three treats!
Mommy was taking too long, so I took a break to read a book.
And to play with some blocks.
Then I asked for help with my hat because I really wanted it on. Turns out, though, that I immediately changed my mind about that.
Cuddling with Mommy to recover from the traumatic hat experience.
Mommy wanted me to come help her again, but the only way that was happening was if I got to wear my “pitty sues” (pretty shoes).
After a little of my assistance, these peanut butter balls were ready for the freezer. While the balls chilled, Mommy said we could watch a little Elmo. This is my “I get to watch Elmo” smile.
After a little break, it was time to dip the balls in chocolate.
Don’t they look yummy?!
In fact, they looked so yummy that I wanted one right that second, but Mommy said they needed to chill again before we could try one.
Okay, I guess I can wait.
Finally!! After lunch it was time to try one of our holiday treats!
These turned out delicious! Mommy and I make a good team!
