I went to see Dr. Mike today for my 18-month checkup.
While we waited I spent some time coloring.
I eventually shredded this paper and shared the confetti with Dr. Mike.
I’m happy to say that I’m a healthy girl. Here are my stats:
Height: 34 inches (95th percentile)
Weight: 25 pounds, 11 ounces (75th percentile)
Head circumference: 20 inches (95th percentile)
Mommy and Daddy have also been noticing a little bump under my skin near my belly button. Dr. Mike said that it’s just a weak spot in my stomach that causes a tiny bulge (but it’s different than a hernia). He said that it’s nothing to worry about because over time my stomach muscles will grow stronger and help to strengthen this weak spot.
Dr. Mike said that I acted like a perfect angel, and that he can’t ever imagine me being naughty for Mommy. I agree! Mommy just makes those stories up.
After one quick shot, we were out of there! Hopefully no more visits until my two-year checkup!
