This weekend is the National Lentil Festival in Pullman. We went downtown last night to try the chili (it wasn’t my favorite). This morning we got up nice and early for the parade.
The Reed family was nice enough to save us spots.
Hanging out with Daddy while we wait for the parade to start.
Once the parade started, I was very intrigued by the fire trucks.
We got some pretty cool airplane hats. Jeff was kind enough to model his hat for us.
This parade entry seemed to get Mommy and Daddy pretty darn excited.
It’s almost time for football season!!! Yay!
After the parade we went home so I could take a nap. Then we headed off to a wedding!
Here is my friend Sophia and her mommy, Jenny (who is Maid-of-Honor in this wedding). Mommy and Jenny were good friends in college.
This is the beautiful bride, Amy! She, Mommy, and Jenny all lived in the same dorm for two years, and were also in the Cougar Marching Band all through college. They have some great memories together!
I didn’t have a thing to say during the entire wedding because I had a sucker. I say it’s a win-win situation!
In between the ceremony and the reception, I decided to decorate my hair with bark. That’s just what it needed.
All smiles with Daddy.
Mommy, Jenny, and Jenny’s husband, Will (who is also from the WSU and Cougar Marching Band days).
Being a daredevil on the golf cart.
I also figured out how to stop and smell the roses. Everyone makes this face, right?
I sure love my daddy.
The lovely bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo!
The night ended with a beautiful sunset.
It was a fun and joyous day!
