I officially turned one on Friday! I’m such a big girl now. In the morning Mommy and I went swimming. We had to wait until Daddy got home from work to open presents. It was really hard to wait!
So excited for some fun presents!
I’ve improved my present opening skills a lot since Christmas.
Daddy still has to help me, though.
Grandpa Jim and Grandma Shelly sent me some pretty dresses.
I was very intrigued by the fun card they sent.
Great present Grandma Shelly!! Anyone who knows my mommy knows that “Ellen” is one of her all-time favorite shows. This book is about two little girls who are on “Ellen” quite a bit. Mommy might have been more excited about this book than I was.
Mommy’s turn to help me open presents.
A doll! Thanks Grandpa Jim and Grandma Shelly! This was my favorite gift from you.
My great grandma Jackie spent a lot of time making me my very own quiet book.
Thanks Great Grandma Jackie! This is a very special gift!
And look at my ball from everyone in my Great Grandma Sharon’s household! Mommy and I have been rolling this ball all over the house. Thank you!
I’m showing Daddy my dolly. Her name is Amy and I already love her very much.
When I think we’re all done with presents, Mommy and Daddy take me downstairs to show me their present to me. A kitchen! My very own kitchen!
I know how to do this. I have watched Mommy cook lots of things.
It looks like a decent-sized refrigerator. I won’t have any problem filling this bad boy up.
I need to check the refrigerator to make sure it’s clean. It looked pretty good.
After we were done opening presents, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to a spaghetti dinner/fundraiser. After that, we went out for frozen yogurt. I can honestly say that this was the best birthday I’ve ever had! Thanks for all of the birthday wishes!
(My party with friends was on Saturday, so stay tuned for those pictures.)
