My second cousin, Ryan, got an iPhone. He was so excited that he did a happy dance.
Everyone ended the night by playing Scattergories. Great Grandpa fell asleep, but somehow ended up tying for third place. Not too shabby!
I had a really great day! I did have a small fever at the end of the night, but my Daddy and Grandpa went out to the store to buy some baby Tylenol for me. I woke up the next day feeling much better! Overall, it was a great Christmas. Only 364 days until I get to do it all over again!!
It’s my first Christmas Eve!
Pretty in pink.

Then I snuggled up with Mommy and Daddy to read my Christmas Eve book.
I’m excited to celebrate the birth of Jesus tomorrow!
After I went to bed, the cookie decorating started. There were six dozen cookies to decorate, so everyone was involved.
Grandpa Jim was a frosting machine!
The adults ended the night with a hot tub trip. I went to sleep long ago, though, because Santa comes tomorrow!!!!!!
Here comes the bride!

The Grunenfelders hard at work on their house.
Lainey joined in the fun for a bit!
Our finished masterpiece. It’s Santa’s garage. Notice his modernized sleigh with wheels. He is loaded up with presents for the nice kids and coal for the naughty kids.
A close-up of Rudolph and his reindeer friends. We know they’re not all here. The rest are grazing in another pasture until Christmas Eve arrives.
Lainey loves to be chased around the house. It’s one of her favorite games!
