Lainey got to meet a lot of people this weekend! She had lots of fun jumping with Nicole, Mommy’s roommate from WSU.
She also got to meet a lot of Mommy’s friends from the elementary education program. A few people were missing, but it was still such a great time!
Lainey also got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went to see the Cougs play against Oregon. Victoria and Karl joined in the fun.
The Cougs didn’t win, but they really did a great job against the number two team in the nation. We’re proud of them. Go Cougs!
Look what arrived in the mail yesterday.
It appears that Grandpa may have been slightly envious over my “Grandma Has All the Answers” shirt.
Don’t worry, I love my grandpas, too…very much! Thanks for the t-shirt!
Here’s a good video that shows a couple of Lainey’s new skills!
Well, the game didn’t turn out how we wanted, but we had a fun time with our friends, Jessica and Jason, who came down from Spokane.
For the past few days, Mommy and I have been having a battle of the wills during feeding time. I’ve been winning.
This is what I look like after each feeding. I like to close my mouth and refuse to eat. When Mommy gets the spoon near, I like to grab it and fling food around. If Mommy actually manages to get food into my mouth, I like to put my hands in my mouth and spread the food all over my face.
Notice here that I’m smiling. I shouldn’t be. Mommy is considering either a feeding tube inserted directly into my stomach, or clamps to hold my mouth open. We’ll see who wins this next battle…
I demanded that I wear this shirt today.
I have two very smart grandmas who know a lot of stuff.
I love my grandmas very much.
I also love my grandpas very much, but they didn’t buy me a shirt. Where’s my t-shirt Grandpa?
While my parents have been busy preparing to move to a new house, I have decided to start doing some moving of my own. I can now move all over the place and get into everything. Time to batten down the hatches!
